Laura Deacon Equine Sports Massage
“I have been practicing as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist for 11 years. I decided to pursue my career in this field after spending 3 years gaining my Bsc (hons) degree in Equine Sports Science. I have always had a passion for the welfare of horses and enrolling onto Mary Bromiley’s Equine Massage course seemed like a natural progression. This was absolutely the right choice for me as healing horses is not like a job to me but more like a way of life.
Being a member of Equine Sports Massage Association has been a real support for me throughout my 11 years in this field. The dedicated team are always there to guide and offer many opportunities for further varied learning with courses for CPD and an annual AGM.
It has opened up opportunities for my self development, business management and how to interact with paraprofessionals, working whilst abroad, and an forever ending mastery in how to improve the welfare of an array of different types of horses. From the retired companion horse to the elite performance horse.”
